Hi, and welcome to the Bencivenga.us website.

I originally created this site so that other family and Bencivenga folks across the world could unite and try to find relatives or info about what we are all up to. I have had 165 different “Bencivenga’s” visit the site and that is really what the intent of this site was supposed to be. With the rise of social media sites becoming more and more popular it seems that this site is not so popular, and people have not been able to find the time to post articles about what they are up to. Honestly, I have not kept up this site to my liking and I intend to revamp the site soon. I spend more time on facebook and twitter than my own site, Funny huh? I am happy that I have found lost relatives here. I am happy that we have had Bencivenga’s from Italy, Spain, Argentina, London and New York.

With the passing of my grandmother Amelia Bencivenga, our family has had a falling out. Brothers and sisters are fighting and now are not talking to each other over money and religious viewpoints. It’s saddening to me that people cannot just get along, especially family. I always thought the best my uncles and aunts until I saw the true viciousness that greed can impart on us all. I was called names and accused of things I did not do. This is partly why this site has lingered and went static.

It is my hope that more Bencivenga’s can make connections and keep in touch, So as I transition this site to my own personal blog and away from a “Bencivenga” related site I have created a social network based on the NING network. www.bencivenga.ning.com
